  • 1: Rengör såret i enlighet med klinisk praxis och torka den omgivande huden noggrant. Välj en storlek på Mepitel One som täcker såret och den omgivande huden med minst 2 cm. Om det behövs kan förbandet skäras. För större sår krävs mer överlappning. Mepitel One med denna symbol kan hjälpa dig att applicera och ta bort förbandet på hudens tårar. För dessa sår finns det en risk att klaffen öppnas igen när förbandet tas bort. 2: Applicera förbandet med pilen i samma riktning som klaffen. Börja applicera från flikens botten. När du tar bort förbandet, börja ta bort det med den tryckta symbolen i den riktning som pilen pekar. 3: Ta bort de skyddande plastskikten och applicera Mepitel One med den klibbiga sidan på såret. Förbandet appliceras på ett korrekt sätt när du kan läsa texten på förbandet. Släta förbandet på plats på den omgivande huden för att få en bra tätning. Om mer än ett stycke Mepitel One används, överlappa förbandet. Se till att hålen inte är blockerade. 4: Applicera ett yttre absorberande förband ovanpå Mepitel One och fixera.; 1: Cleanse the wound in accordance with clinical practice and dry the surrounding skin thoroughly. Choose a size of Mepitel One that covers the wound and the surrounding skin by at least 2cm. If needed, the dressing can be cut. For larger wounds, more overlap is required. Mepitel One with this symbol can help you apply and remove the dressing on skin tears. For these wounds, there is a risk of re-opening the flap when removing the dressing. 2: Apply the dressing with the arrow pointing in the same direction as the flap. Start application from the base of the flap. When removing the dressing, begin removal following the printed symbol, in the direction the arrow is pointing. 3: Remove the protective plastic layers and apply Mepitel One with the sticky side to the wound. The dressing is applied in a correct way when you can read the text printed on the dressing. Smooth the dressing in place onto the surrounding skin to get a good seal. If more than one piece of Mepitel One is used, overlap the dressings. Make sure that the holes are not blocked. 4: Apply an outer absorbent dressing, on top of Mepitel One and fixate.
